No shit?

This is the gas tank on a ‘99 328i.

This is main accessory belt. There should be a pulley where that metal hub is above the tensioner pulley mid-picture. That’s the rusty corpse of the idler pulley spindle, which the (incorrectly routed) (cracked) belt is running on. Well, would be running on, if the car would start.

Somebody threw a fuel pump at it, but the fuel pump fuse is missing... WTF? So of course it’s been towed in for us to solve.

I’m not familiar with BMWs, is that just a leaky drain hole fix or has it been pierced and plugged?

Kinja'd!!! BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest. > 4muddyfeet - bare knuckle with an EZ30

It looks to have been plugged badly.

Punctured and badly plugged, they're plastic and don't have drains.
